<the new Palestinian leadership>

I am as sceptical as Nadine, about the existence of a "new" leadership. The deal-breaker at Taba, was not settlements, or Jerusalem, but the "right of return". And I detect no difference between Arafat and Abbas, on that crucial issue. If there is any new leadership for the Palestinians, it's Hamas, not Abbas, unfortunately.

If Sharon is going to dismantle any non-symbolic number of settlements, he is going to have to add Labor to his coalition, and subtract the "every square meter is our Holy Land" coalition members.
