No, Hawk. The greatest threat to Israel is the mad mullahs in Iran, their proxy Hizbullah in Syria/Lebanon, and Bashar Assad in all his radical stupidity.

Obviously an argument can be made for that position. But given that Sunni Arabs generally despise Persian Shiites, and there are centuries of distrust between the two cultures, I would almost suggest that Israel would be coming to the Arab's assistance, strange as that may seem.

No... I think Iraq, along with Syria, were Israel's greatest threats due to their proximity. For the Iranians to directly attack Israel conventionaly, they would have to conquer every Arab country in between first.

Just my opinion...
