There are signs that components of the economy are stable and even growing. There is speculative gambling in the drug companies. There is no doubt in my mind that the SPX can run for a while.

The sector of the market that is not yet stable is the tech sector and yet it runs like the wind. Perhaps the next slaughtering will finally teach the individuals about fundamentals.
