Clapper,

<I feel like I live in the Pacific North East. Suddenly I
have a craving for a latte....>

You too eh? I let someone throughthat was in a traffic rotary today as I was entering it, listened to Public Radio, bought some sandals and had a craving for a veggie pocket and carrot juice. Ya think it's the rain? <g>

The Spurs looked very good and I now see why Tim Duncan is paid so much money - he dominated the second half. I think the Nets may take one or two at home, but I think that will be the extent of it.

Playing in a golf fund raiser on Monday for ALS. There was a great guy who I used to work with...3 kids and wonderful wife, great job at Digital - he contracted ALS fours years ago and is in very bad shape now. The past few years there have been all kinds of fundraisers in his name...the fund is $33k short of a million...the tournament should put it over the top. He made a pledge last Fall that when his daughter got engaged, he would walk her down the isle. Last week at the wedding he did it! I had tears in my eyes as I read the email account from a couple of friends who attended the wedding. He will be there at the tournament...a courageous man. There will be hundreds of people who worked at DEC there.

And the hard rains...gonna faaaaaaall!

Claps; just when it looks like SARS may be under control, a shortage of masks appears on the horizon....
