Hi LindyBill; Re: "I predicted you would vulture your way back in here when you felt there were enough bad news for you to Schadenfreude over."

This is stunning. A member of the "Polyanna Brigade" admits that there is cause for "schadenfreude" over the Iraq war. I thought everything was going just peachy, with new countries popping up ripe for our tank attacks every day!

Re: "You are perched on a tree overlooking the roadkill, aren't you?"

You're saying I'm perched over "roadkill". By that term do you mean to describe the individual soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for my country, or do you instead mean that the war in general is "roadkill"?

The fact is that you couldn't give a good God damn about the American boys that are dying in Iraq for your mistake. All you care about is being right or wrong.

Before this war I ran out the numbers and concluded that it was such a bad idea that Bush couldn't possibly execute it. I was proved wrong, and now, as US soldiers are gunned down in steadily increasing numbers, you're going to ignore me.

Well good for you. When I linked in an article from a US military publication that allowed us to calculate that about 500,000 troops would be required to pacify Iraq you read it, but ignored the facts. So we got ourselves stuck in the hole, and now your response is to ignore further comments.

I don't see any change. You ignored me before, and you will continue to ignore me in the future. I doubt that you have the will power, but if you do, big deal.
