uw,

I don't doubt that your view of the Clintons is shared by others. But the degree of that is not known at the moment. There are certainly other views, some much more sympathetic, some rather complicated, that will determine just how electable she is. She's done a terrific job as a Senator.

I have to admit that I am one of those.

I asked my wife and daughters (all avid readers) if they are buying the book. They all said absolutely not. They do not want that trash in the house and around the kids. My family thinks Bill is guilty of gross moral turpitude and Hillary is a coward. Both are pathological liars. I do not think we are the only extended family with this view.

What happened to the American landscape after the improprieties of Bill Clinton has been as polarizing as anything I can remember since Richard Nixon resigned the presidency. But Clinton's behavior makes Nixon look like a victim.

If the gory details of one's sexual encounters are to become public they belong in supermarket tabloids, and that is exactly where our president's daily events got the most coverage. It was/is embarrassing as hell and many people resent the fact that the children learned the meaning of BJs, by of all people, the POTUS.

I won't have anything even remotely associated with his presidency in my home or near my family.

President Hillary Clinton would just agonizingly prolong what many perceive as that national embarrassment.

M

I hear you, uw. You just wish that Hillary would go away. Ain't gonna happen, and we both know it. She has been proceeding intelligently in the Senate, and I expect to see her run in '08.
