I wish I could find the story in print, but last night there was a story on one of the news channels about a soldier in Baghdad, and basically how he had taken control of his "area" and put the citizens of his area to work in making the lights work, and opening a clinic, and getting the school open...and how well he was being received by the citizens there, especially with one little 7 or 8 year old girl that rode around with him in his HumVee because she was raped and he took her under his wing like his own daughter. I THINK his name was Swain..or McSwain, something along those lines. Quite an inspiring story.
