At the moment, it looks more like internal cross union power struggles than anything else.


These Unions are a top source of Power and money for the Dems. They get away with having full time employees who do nothing else but work for the Democrats. It is illegal, but they don't get called on it. You can guess how I feel about their ability to dump Union dues into political campaigns.

We haven't really had any major investigations of Union corruption in a long time. It is endemic in the Unions, and they are way overdue for some perp walks. I have read some rumors that Rove has kept Justice out of the Unions. I think the Rico act could be used to put a lot of the top leaders away. But there is no will to do it at the moment.
