Let me just add one thing to my "stimulate the economy" mantra. The reduction in the dollar has had a wonderful "wake up call" effect on many other countries of the world. The U.S. has been the demand engine for the last 5 years and many other countries have just gone along for the ride. Now other countries are faced with the lack of demand inside their own borders as demand is shifted toward the lower-dollar-United States. They are/will respond with lower interest rates and lower taxes combined with long-awaited structural reforms designed to stimulate their local demand. Oh what wonders markets perform!
