re:You want me to burst your bubble

I want your best effort.

There is little evidence that we have successfully engaged them in "the financial field" and there is even less evidence on the ground. In Afghanistan, word is coming out that the Taliban and the warlords are on the ascendancy and that Karzai only controls Kabul.

As for finances, administration officials complained as late as early this year that tracking down the $$$ was hard going. I assure you that if success was the operative word, we'd be hearing a lot more about it.

re:So are you telling me that Riyadh and Casablanca were training exercises for the new recruits?

Training for sure, small compared to other jobs - I don't believe we've eliminated terrorism, but you must admit we've reduced their capability significantly.

There is not much to say on this one. If you believe that that these two events are minor, particularly when coming back to back to each other, then I won't argue with you.
