They can let other parties do the mistakes in research and then pop by to pick up some cherries. They have of course to employ some professional cherry pickers.

They seem to be doing pretty well at this already - after all, where did Velcade come from ?

Doesn't MLNM also have a robust pipeline?

It would seem to me that the appropriate priority is to focus on generating an increasing revenue stream rather than the more basic research.
