question ... I'm not doing this, but did overhear a conversation at the lumber yard coffee shop early this morning saying he'd "done it" ... I comprehend the wash rule and I comprehend ex-div-date but this guy was saying that he'd bought RJR a couple of weeks ago in one account (his) and that he had an order to short it tomorrow AFTER ex-date in another account (his wife) ok ... this I see he gets the div in his account she doesn't have to pay div as it will be ex-div he is well up on the price ... three+ bucks he figures it will drop twice the div in the week after ex-div and he'll cover her short all you accontant/FA/bookies have any comment? that is at least Fishy Larry Scooter BB BWAC Ed it appears to be a dumb move as I see it but I surely didn't say anything to the guy cause he is size industrial.... hello?
