I'm not keeping score as to how many times you were wrong, but my impression is that you tend to be more pessimistic than the way things actually turn out. I admit to being an optimist.

must be tempered with a transition period or it will not turn out well. KL, my experience is that "transition periods" in almost anything are bad. Better to "Binary" it, and get the agony over with. "Nuancing" it is almost always the wrong way to go. There seems to be some feeling here that the Iraqi people are so stupid that they can't figure out on their own how to make a buck. You better believe that all over Iraq people are starting businesses and figuring out how to get ahead.
