If the guys at Oracle were truly interested in acquiring Sebl, I think they would have made their move when Sebl was cheaper. Sebl is up about 100% off its 52 week low now. Even you seem to be in agreement that such a buyout is unlikely, but more for cultural and architectural reasons than for financial reasons. In addition, I recall someone posting an article here last year suggesting that Tom instituted some measures that would make a takeover very difficult.

By the way, as much I complained about Larry huge stock option exercise in 2001, I have more respect for Larry Ellison than Tom Siebel. Larry has run a legitimately profitable business for many years, something Tom Siebel has yet to do.
