Patience works for me. My guess is the slowness is a combination of software and hardware kinks and these may not get resolved until the new software and hardware are in place. IHUB used to be quite a bit slower until Bob tweaked it a few dozen times, so the prospects for better speed at SI are pretty bright IMO.

It won't keep up. I'm typing this from the ISP where I'm installing the new database server that we expect to have doing all db duties soon.

And, of course, the outage we just had of several minutes was my doing. The new Dell box was apparently too much to add to the existing UPS's, and it all came crashing down. <sigh>

Now I'm hunting down a big extension cord for the UPS that this Dell will have to have all to itself.
