"Blessed is he who borroweth". Good one, definitely the mantra pushed by the powers, but definitely a trap which now is unseen. Being a bit of a contrarian, I don't want to become a "paid up" member of that church, although the message is enticing as I see people happily enjoying the fruits of their borrowing, rather than the fruits of their labour, driving new cars, living in new fancy homes, daily opening mail promising even greater borrowing ability. They seem happy.

I must have a character flaw Searle. I must think positively and repeat over and over and over....."don't worry, be happy." I'm starting to get it now, and I feel a tinge of an urge to go to the bank, take out a loan and buy something. Anything. Maybe there is hope for me yet. Remember me in your prayers or meditation that I too may be blessed, and receive the eternal gratitude of the lender for doing my part.

I think I'll take out a big mortgage! Yeah! Maybe go on a vacation. How about South Africa? Or buy a new car. My Toyota is getting a bit old. Or a new stereo system or new fancy TV. The possibilities are endless. I'm having fun. Gotta go now, got some papers to sign. Think of all the good I can do for my country, my fellow man. Yahoo!!!! LIFE IS GREAT! What a system!

Thanks for the inspiration Searle! I needed that.
