Why should my support of smaller government make me jump to a conclusion that the government is lying every time someone accuses them of doing so?

When it appears the claim they insisted upon is not correct.

That has not been established yet. If at some point it is then lying is not the only possible reason for the incorrect claim.

I'm not really anti-government. I just want small government. I'm not more likely then a liberal to think something is a lie just because a government offical said it. I examine each case on its merits. It I do determine that is or probably is a lie, that fact has little to do with my support for smaller government.
