First, it is huge news from Intel. EVERYONE was watching to see that intel would conform to all the bad news being announced by other companies. It stayed the course.

With HP it is as if Walter had been unloading everytime the stock started up and now he has run out and the stock goes up every day, and stays up. :)

I don't think walter had that many shares.

I do think that economies of scale have been setting in. I do think that the walter extraction eliminated a vestige of chronie-ism that was present in HP.

It is interesting that every big outsourcing deal hp has announced has contributed thousands of new employees, which don't seem to show up on the payroll records.

All things will be revealed in the fullness of time.
