Hi KyrosL; Re Sharon and his word. No, I believe Sharon will remove the settlements. There has been a sea-change in the Middle East. There is another force at work now. A few months ago Sharon was still talking about waiting until the Palestinians recognized that they were beaten and sued for peace. That bravado is gone now, and replaced with a willingness to compromise. I expect the Israelis to get a measure of peace, for a while, but I do not expect it to be permanent. -- Carl
