You are now a perfect fool. For years I have subscribed to National Review, Commentary, The American Spectator, The New Criterion, The National Interest, and The Weekly Standard. In order to get a more balanced picture, I have also subscribed to The New Republic, The New York Review of Books, Foreign Affairs (sporadically), and several other middle of the road to liberal journals and newspapers. The past year is the first that I have tried subscribing to Time, and I have never subscribed to Newsweek, though I have on occasion read copies. I am sure that I am more exposed to differing viewpoints than you are, and have read more critically and altered my opinions more profoundly in accordance with the results of reading and reflection than you are capable of imagining.....
