Because you acted like my term "risk premium" was somehow misstated or irrelevant, which imo it was not.

I only postulated that interest rates will stay low on further expansion of the definition of risk premium. As you can see, the definition is not only volitility, but additionally the notion of overall investing climate represented by interest rates. Whenever interest rates enter into some formula in some way, that means there are a whole host of external factors involved.

I was only thinking outloud that my expectation of interest rates going forward for the forseeable future is that they will stay low. Therefore, FOR NOW, maybe volitility is all that matters.
