If this message actually posts it will be my last one of the day. The VIX turn up in November was actually a leading indicator for the subsequent decline though the early winter. I had never approached the VIX this way but it bears watching Allan. It is counterintuitive but if it happens again we should make a note.

I would add that depending where we close today, I may be selling for a wiggle.

3 billion shares today on the Nasdaq? Wow!

as for the vxn and vix..people are still betting against this move...

you seem to be posting that VIX info as a warning to bears, yet the VIX and VXN both have bullish charts this weekend which would seem to me to be a sound reason for bulls to begin looking for cover. What am i missing?
