SUNW

...."But talk of a buyout may not be the only thing aiding Sun's stock Friday. Goldman Sachs came out with a bullish research note on Sun that could be helping the drive higher.

"Sun's vision is probably more compelling than it's given credit for," wrote Goldman analyst Laura Conigliaro in her report. "But it also runs counter to many of today's trends and will take time and possible business-model changes to play out."

According to Conigliaro, Sun is in "substantially" better shape this quarter than last quarter. She noted that while she doesn't want to get too optimistic about Sun's current quarter, there is the potential the company could surprise on the upside. (Conigliaro doesn't own Sun shares, but Goldman intends to seek investment-banking business from the company.)"
