UN and Canada stopping the war in Congo globeandmail.ca What's the US doing about it? NADA! The Congo conflict has cost over a million lives and the US is not lifting a finger to bring peace. The new spin on the Iraq War was it was a humanitarian effort to rid the country of a bloody dictator. We see a more profound problem in the Congo and is the US responding? No! Why? Because the US has no geopolicital interest in that region and Shrub doesn't like Niggers.
