The only reason I think this merger could be good news for sebl is that it leaves Sebl as the only other standalone player for companies that want apps. Some companies won't go oracle, and SAP is something of a behemoth in terms of their architecture (you really can't integrate it with anything). Sebl will take some business for those psft loyalists who do not want to do business with oracle imo.

The apps business has always been a 3-player game except the bubble when there was more money available. Sebl can grow into a larger firm now I suspect (in terms of product offerings).
