Its not ridiculous. The Bush doctrine says we do not wait for threats to fully develop before we move to defuse them. Have you idiots learned nothing from 9/11? The declaration was full of false information. The Al-Samouds violated the UNSCR. Saddam openly flouted the resolutions ending the war. There were documented payments to homicide bombers. Saddam refused to verify the destruction of thousands of liters of CW and BW whose existence was established by the UN weapons inspectors prior to their expulsion. The best intelligence estimates indicated he had the weapons. The Security Services of the Europeans agreed. All this was known before we invaded. Wake up and smell the coffee.
