The corn in the MD, NJ, PA, NY area should be in great shape this year because of very adequate moisture so far and more on the way, but much of the corn around here is grown for roadside stands and farmer's markets, and I'm not sure how much we contribute to the national supply...

There is still deflation in things like VCRs and small TVs, poultry, bread, juice drinks, etc, but inflation is still in force here with things like local taxes, auto insurance, plumbing and sewer cleaning services, teacher salaries, etc, etc.
