LOL! Well, perhaps I'd better qualify my comments about the public perception of Martha. My point was that people didn't buy her books and magazine, and watch her TV show, and make her rich in the process because they disliked her. Yes, I know what you're thinking: it took a while for the public to get to know the "real" Martha. However, keep in mind that people still bought her stock in droves and still buy her books and still watch her TV show, so it stands to reason she still has admirers. And even if you want to put all her adulation in the past tense, it's still shocking to see someone who had at least reached such heights be brought down to such lows.
