To: SOROS who wrote (20094 ) 6/7/2003 12:32:31 AM From: Jim Willie CB Respond to of 89467 "Matrix: Reloaded" contained some wisdom for investments the movie was full of highbrow philosophy the second thoughts could easily be applied to financial markets I took mental notes 1. the general did not want to share the real risk with the people, for fear of panicking them is that their actual motive, or is it instead a desire to remain in control they more likely enjoy the role of playing God I suspect it is this alternative view that dominates our USGovt leaders do not tell Congress of leased & sold gold they dont tell us of their own internal panic in unprecedented Weimar-like dollar printing 2. regarding sophisticated machines, people dont care how they work, as long as they do work people in the USA have no idea how debt serves as our system's foundation in a highly risk-ridden system they dont understand our fractional banking system's hypergrowth tendency for money supply growth they dont understand how out of control Fanny Mae is they simply trust our economists, despite the fact that they got us into this mess 3. the only thing that powerful men want is more power the Rubin Clan had access to our national gold treasure they were already wealthy but they wanted more so they sold our nation's debt collateral they profited in the billion$ the Bushy-Cheney bunch now lust for control of the ME oilfields there is no end for lust of power 4. choice is the delusion given by those with power, to those without power so US investors now believe they can just make the right choices they can continue to work within the system, spending for patriotic reasons, going into terminal debt for the greater good they are led to believe future years of continued stock investing will pay off and recoup losses, assuring them of happy prosperous pensions 5. hope: the source of mankind's greatest strength but also its greatest weakness our future viability as a nation lies in the USDollar this hope is not well-placed our people continue to hope that our capitalism will prevail but it has become polluted by socialism and federal oppression, not to mention govt intervention of free markets very large games are being played behind closed doors the US Constitution has become a mere expedient the Law has become whatever the Supreme Court says, whatever Congress chooses to do, whatever the President feels like doing, whatever the Federal Reserve decides I loved the movie, just like the first its philosophy is full of wisdom and entertainment it could probably be applied to any microcosm in life / jim
