"Matrix: Reloaded" contained some wisdom for investments
the movie was full of highbrow philosophy
the second thoughts could easily be applied to financial markets
I took mental notes

1. the general did not want to share the real risk with the people, for fear of panicking them

is that their actual motive, or is it instead a desire to remain in control
they more likely enjoy the role of playing God
I suspect it is this alternative view that dominates
our USGovt leaders do not tell Congress of leased & sold gold
they dont tell us of their own internal panic in unprecedented Weimar-like dollar printing

2. regarding sophisticated machines, people dont care how they work, as long as they do work

people in the USA have no idea how debt serves as our system's foundation in a highly risk-ridden system
they dont understand our fractional banking system's hypergrowth tendency for money supply growth
they dont understand how out of control Fanny Mae is
they simply trust our economists, despite the fact that they got us into this mess

3. the only thing that powerful men want is more power

the Rubin Clan had access to our national gold treasure
they were already wealthy
but they wanted more
so they sold our nation's debt collateral
they profited in the billion$
the Bushy-Cheney bunch now lust for control of the ME oilfields
there is no end for lust of power

4. choice is the delusion given by those with power, to those without power

so US investors now believe they can just make the right choices
they can continue to work within the system, spending for patriotic reasons, going into terminal debt for the greater good
they are led to believe future years of continued stock investing will pay off and recoup losses, assuring them of happy prosperous pensions

5. hope: the source of mankind's greatest strength but also its greatest weakness

our future viability as a nation lies in the USDollar
this hope is not well-placed
our people continue to hope that our capitalism will prevail
but it has become polluted by socialism and federal oppression, not to mention govt intervention of free markets

very large games are being played behind closed doors
the US Constitution has become a mere expedient
the Law has become whatever the Supreme Court says, whatever Congress chooses to do, whatever the President feels like doing, whatever the Federal Reserve decides

I loved the movie, just like the first
its philosophy is full of wisdom and entertainment
it could probably be applied to any microcosm in life
