The subject was WMD, Carl, and you know it. And the point was that even Clinton knew Iraq had WMD. Look up Desert Fox. I fault Clinton for many things, including not standing up to Saddam and the Saudis' when it was easier to do, and weapons weren't so easy to come by.... I don't fault Bush for at least sincerely trying for peace in the ME. But until Arafat is not to be seen, I don't think it will happen. Reading David Warren's column a bit ago "Hopeless"...was very sad. I wish he was wrong. But unless the terrorist groups are vaporized one way or another...I fear he will be right.
