I Was Shocked by Poor Weapons Intelligence - Blix An inescapable point on this subject is that there are 2M lbs of chemical agent and 10K liters (or however much) Anthrax that are unaccounted for. This, from a nation that was required pursuant to a ceasefire agreement to account for its chem/bio weapons. Yes, you and Bush have said that before but they are no where to be found. Whether WMD are ever found, this fact is indisputable and taken alone, constitutes sufficient grounds for having gone to war. No, it doesn't because they are non existent. Now, you may convince a majority of Americans that its adequate justification but it isn't. Even had Saddam destroyed those weapons, he was required to prove he did so, else we were correct to have assumed he had NOT destroyed them. This is such a non-issue. Forget chemical and bio for a moment. What about the non existent uranium Bush said Saddam bought.......in his State of the Union of all times if you can believe that? What about the tubes Bush, Rummie and Powell said were for nukes and are not? Why do you continue to ignore that at best they manipulated the info and at worst outright lied? Where is your outrage that you so easily summon to the surface when Clinton and cigars are under discussion? I know.....hypocrisy has a name and its D.Ray. Bush may get away with this because of his popularity and because of the current three monkey effect on the Amer. public......see no, hear no, tell no evil. However, if what is being said by the media is true and there are no WMD in Iraq, that makes Bush a liar and dilettante. He along with Blair should be shown the door. Then they can build sandcastles on the beach.......together. ted
