michael,

I have owned and traded ADM forever. This comes from a family business relationship back in the 40's and 50's. <g> Right now I have a minimum position as I was surprised the stock did not trade down in the 9's on the last market sell off. I was ready to load the boat, but did not get the chance. Anyway I think their operations in Brazil and China are going to contribute nicely to the bottom line in the future. Their ethanol business should also do well. They are shutting down plants in the US which will make them more profitable.

And they are the "supermarket to the world". Whatever the heck that means.

Monsanto is an ag products company, they make seed or fertilizer or something. It went a little higher than I expected but I'll wait and see what happens.

Can't say if crude is going higher or not. Some of the oils looked to me like they might be topping.
