Yes but on the way down the VIX and VXN were dropping faster than the market. That was really weird too.
Could not figure out how put premiums were evaporating as the market went down but now its seems obvious that someone had a plan.

I think VIX/VXN are leading indicators recently.

doesnt quite fit, but good money could have been made using his turns
