Fred - I see little reason to go into the whole debate with you, given that my last four attempts to do so ended with you not answering my posts.

Summary: Nobody is saying Saddam is a good guy. Everybody is saying Bush administration lied and cheated and slandered those who opposed his lying/cheating ways (ex: France) in his need to invade Iraq for reasons that had little to nothing to do with how much of a bad guy Saddam is.

By the way, re your posts being "absolutely consistent" - you seem to think that is a Good Thing. Obviously, that is not necessarily so. You have been consistently wrong in thinking this invasion had anything to do with Saddam being a bad guy and his "WMDs". All I would like to know, really, is if you are beginning to doubt the wisdom of that belief, given the fact that your own government is now accepting the possibility that they may never found those soi-disant "WMDs", and that their intelligence may have been faulty. In other words, that they were wrong in invading Iraq on the basis of WMDs.
