Lindy contacted a friend who's wife just returned from Paris trip .. her comments do not support the article.. That is why you check and cross check Blog stuff. No editor. On the other hand, it's a big city, and totally different impressions will be had. I just posted a reply to a Washingtonian article on the Times situation by a Times reporter, who was in the DC meeting. He said the article was totally wrong. We are now getting so much more info because of the net that corrections will be much more prevalent. The Guardian Editor who corrected his story on Wolfowitz yesterday said he was snowed under by Email.
