Ted, Let me be the first to say your concern over the welfare of the NY Times is a bit suspect.

Concern? More like amusement. Don't get me wrong; I want the NY Times to come out of this just as strong as before. I wouldn't mind if it lost some of its liberal bias, but that doesn't bother me as much as it does some others.

And as for the CNN thing.....well the conservative press tried desperately to make it something more than what it was......and of course, it didn't go any where.

It went far enough. Next time CNN has an "exclusive interview" with a shady world leader, people will be wondering what CNN didn't report just to get that interview.

I think you're underestimating the impact this had on CNN, just like you're underestimating the impact of the whole Jayson Blair scandal. After all, I didn't see anyone, including you, predict that Howard Raines would step down.

P.S. - Before you call me a FOXNews junkie, let me tell you that the two sources of news I check into first are CNN.com and USAToday.com. I like the quality of their web sites and articles over FOXNews.com.
