IF NOT, don't be surprised to see political donations to the Repupblican Party from friends of Israel suddenly dry up

If they do, they do. But I believe most American Jews recognize that Israel will only have some possibility of peace through the creation of a Palestinian state.

And not like that is anything more than a symbolic gesture since Jordan is practically the closest entity that reflects such a state.. But what it does do is put the context in the form of a "state on state" relationship.

As a state, Palestine will have certain responsibilities for acting in accordance with international law (not permitting attacks from within its territory).

Any violation of these norms will then fall under international law as state on state agression, not merely an act of rebellion against an occupier.

In sum, Palestinian government will have to spend considerable time and focus on preventing its own unruly elements from violating international laws.

And if the aggression continues, it will likely diminish world sentiment for the Palestinians and uncover the likely TRUE agenda, the destruction of Israel.

LOL! When's the last time the Republican Party got more money than Democrats, from "friends of Israel"? For that matter, when was the last time a Republican Presidential Candidate won a majority of votes, from "friends of Israel"?
