I agree.

That statement is stupid -- but the pt of it is supposedly dispelling the rumor that they would be holding more of their reserves in the euro vs holding them in the US dollar ...

It sounds like to be they are already considering shifting some of their reserves away from USD assets.

Know any place that has stats on that??

I think Quatar's oil minister is hinting that OPEC's price range may not be set in dollars in the future.
