Bob,

Thanks for the response. I was having a *coversation* with some folks on the SUNW thread. Of course they believe that all the recent slowness is caused by Microsoft software, specifically Microsoft SQL Server. After all you said you would convert the DB to SQL Server so, that must be the cause of the slowness. I'm about to explain to them that the Oracle db is an inanimate object and would not intentionally slow down just because you intend to replace it. <g>

Bob,
getting word from people that there may be a problem with the login page.

They can get to the homepage, but when they click on "login" they get the login page, but the username and password fields are missing. This is happening on two different computers.

I'm reluctant to logout to verify the symptoms, so you are on your own from here.
