Israeli settlers feeling guilty about the genocide they are perpetrating Hebrew statistics: 600 settlers commit suicide yearly, 5,000 soldiers desert army Non-official statistics in the Hebrew state yesterday revealed that 600 Jewish settlers commit suicide each year in the Hebrew state due to various reasons. Zionist psychiatric experts issuing the statistics said that economic, social and psychiatric reasons were the main motives for the suicide. The experts noted that the official statistics put the figure at 350 suicide cases per annum but the real figure was much higher than that reaching 500 or even 600 cases. Statistics released by a Jewish organization catering for “victims of disasters” said that 161 Jews had committed suicide in the Hebrew state in the period 1st January 2003 to 19th May 2003 without counting the cases in Jerusalem and surrounding areas. The organization noted that 17 of those took their own lives due to economic hardships largely attributed to the more than 30 months old Palestinian Aqsa intifada. Meanwhile, Zionist security sources have disclosed that around 5,000 soldiers were deserting the army. They said that the number of deserters was estimated between 3,000 to 5,000 soldiers who deserted for different reasons. The Zionist war ministry launched a large-scale operation against those who refuse military service fearing widening of the phenomenon into a dangerous gap that would herald the collapse of the Zionist society.
