Naked Lunch was very good, but very weird and depressing. My favorite Cronenberg movie was M. Butterfly- that's much more my cup of tea. Before the Rain was fantastic. I'll never forget some of the images in it. Before the Rain reminds me of some other movies-I also liked No Man's Land, Pretty Village, Pretty Flame, Prisoner of the Mountains, Underground, Beautiful People and Broken English- which has the guy from Before the Rain in it- excellent story about clashing cultures. Baraka is not available at any of the stores around here. :-( I've looked.
