You forgot the biggest, Enron and WorldCom, both GOP companies, especially Enron who actually hired Bush campaign workers and gave GW free use of everything and anything the company had to offer.

They ought to be in jail but not a single corporate crook has been prosecuted under Bush. Only Martha Stewart who did less than Bush did at Harken Energy, 12 times less. And both of them lied about it later.

Ed Gillespie the big Enron lobbyist has been named head of the RNC. Figure it out, pal. Dont side with the crooks and professional liars. Gillespie took $600,000 from enron in 2000 to run a massive TV disinformation campaign blaming the energy crisis on democrats when his pay-master itself was the real culprit.

Bush Sr. also received free stock from Global Crossing, a ton of it. Haley Barbour and Trent Lott were worldCom's boys. And Lieberman took money from Enron. Why Lieberman is not fit to be president despite his excellence otherwise.

Bush Sr. was also in business with the Bin Lauden family until 9-11. The Bin laudens in Boston were whisked out of the country without bering interrogated in 9-11. Through the Carluyle Group they are all connected. James Baker, Bush family counsel, also ran Reliant, the #2 perpetrator in the phony energy crisis.

GW Bush tooks MILLIONS from Enron, and they helped him with the phony energy crisis of 2000, which ended up almost bankrupting California. Phil Gramm's wife sat on the board and now Gramm works for the Enron trading division.

All this and more will come out.

We are Frying Bigger Fish Now...The Death Knell of the Bush Mal-Administration

Re: Not a word about the demo...

You lost me there. Have you been reduced to shallow, sophomoric "cheerleading for the vulgar" expressions? Aren't you ashamed of yourself that you can't even put a pair of coherent sentences together?

Today, America is in crisis. I attended my Sunday evening dialogue on democracy. We would never allow a derisive comment like yours pass. It would be derided as being entirely too devoid of content, emotionally overwrought and basically anti-democratic.

Think of it this way, the world has become much more prone to stupidity than it was a century and a half ago. The dilemma we face is the "Lincoln-Douglas Debates vs. the Bill O'Reilly Diatribes".

You may not understand who Lincoln and Douglas were, and what they debated in 1858, but they did represent a high point in political discourse in our nation. To examine the sound bites and biting hatred of Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh today, this nation is going exactly 180 degrees backwards from progress.

We no longer have civil discourse. We have stupid exchanges on message boards such as PGWB that never move the discussion forward. Why is that? It is not for a lack of effort on my behalf. I've conscientiously and intelligently reported the news, I've introduced more URLs on this board that all but a select few like Tiger Paw who also contribute to the intellectual health of this board.

But on the other hand, we have the opinionated right wing, who you feel very comfortable imitating. Why? Why do you have a complete inability to think independently? Why do you fall into the regurgitation trap? Why do you never express an independent thought? I'm worried about you. You seem to be far more brainwashed than most Americans. Have you checked your detergent levels lately?
