Every paper makes mistakes, every company makes mistakes. It's a one-time deal for the Times. They'll be much more careful now about giving promotions on the basis of race.

Bushies attack the Times because they tell the truth and see through Bushie disinformation campaigns. The NYT isn't perfect and no paper is, but they are right on the money on the Bush Iraq WMD's lies and conspiracy to rush into unilateral war, and so are most major news organzations around the world now. Even Fox Tv is reporting it and questioning Bush, despite the fact Fox has an unwritten policy (I have a friend who works for them and told me) never to criticize Bush openly.

The NYT is now fit for lining bird cages...and that's about it.

Always was. Just that a lot more people realize it now.
