I wonder how many j6p's would say in public they still believe it was necessary, but were only thinking -- hoping for the "war is good for the con-o-me" theory -- I'm afraid there are lots of people who knew this was a farce at the start, but secretly supported it anyway in the hopes it would help the economy out of the doldrums ... I know that is very ignorant -- but TV along with plenty of help from "higher institutions of learning" has been pretty effective at making the masses completely illiterate on economic matters.
