Jacob,

Are there any specific facts or reasoning in my post that you disagree with?

Plenty.

Or is it just the conclusions you don't like?

You search for 'facts' based on a pre-conceived conclusion and as such it becomes self-fulfilling.

The basic issue is revering anyone as much as some do Gandhi, MLK or JFK. Discovering they are only human (even if still great men) is often shattering.

Gandhi is often derisively called the "Father of Pakistan" - India existed before him, but not Pakistan. In fact Nathuram Godse (the man who shot Gandhi) was part of Gandhi's movement and rightly or wrongly felt Gandhi has betrayed India by conceding to a religious partition.

As for the Ignore button - its probably best we both do it since we have so little in common.
