The comment that "I don't see any change in Sun's business or customers in the past few months to cause a change in the outlook for SUNW from what it was in January" is based on......

Following the companies and the markets since the beginning of the year. The universal word since January 1st (actually, since October of last year) has been that things are stable, but nobody sees a pickup in demand. Look at the commentary out of competitors Dell, IBM, CSCO, and HPQ. They all say stable but no pickup. Distributors IM and TECD are actually seeing things deteriorate. Customers the RBOCs, the banks, and the industrials are all saying things are not declining, but they aren't growing. They've been saying that for the past 6 months. This is not news.

With the exception of storage companies which see growth(EMC and NTAP come to mind) virtually everybody in tech says things are stable, but there is no pickup in demand, and has been saying that since Q4 last year.
