i agree with your assessment of cisco. it appears to me that cisco management has worked very hard during the downturn to control expenses and to focus on future revenue streams. because of the way that mr chambers has positioned the company during the downturn, i think the market is now looking at cisco as a company that will potentially make a lot of "net income" during a recovery, and not so much as a company that will return to a 50% plus "revenue" growth rate which is probably unattainable.

however; let me qualify my opinion by saying that historically my having confidence in a stock has been the kiss of death!
