i never realized that i should be appreciative of the "Christian Right" until just now

that is because your culture teaches you that christians have always persecuted jews. jews should not trust christians or christianity. your culture/faith teaches a hatred for Jesus Christ, the Son of God. your culture/faith also teaches that the 'goyim' or 'heathen' are less than human and are unclean. only jews are human. it's no surprise that you have a disdain for christianity and the so-called "christian right"

these facts are easily proven. all you have to do is read a few books on anti-semitism written by jews. i will be happy to provide numerous examples. here is one for instance.

A Scapegoat in the New Wilderness - The Origins And Rise Of Anti-Semitism In America (1994) - Frederic Cople Jaher

"Christianity has a powerful anti-Semitic impulse, America is a Christian country, and America is anti-Semitic. The truth of this syllogism has been empirically demonstrated throughout this book." --Epilogue, (last page, 249) A Scapegoat in the New Wilderness

"It is my contention that animosity embedded in Christian doctrine, while by no means the only source of anti-Semitism, has exerted a primary influence since the early days of Christianity...Any comprehensive analysis of anti-Semitism in America or elsewhere must consider the interplay of religious, social, and psychological factors. Of these factors, I believe that religious prejudice--specifically, Christian hostility toward Jews--is paramount." --Back cover of A Scapegoat in the New Wilderness
