why is it that you spin everything I say as some sort of commentary on Bush? I don't like Bush but that has nothing to do with this stupid situation with Israel. To be honest, I applaud Bush for calling for a Palestinian state. I still think we (the US) are too easy on Israel. We should have put an end to these settlements long ago. BTW they didn't start in Clinton's term, they started prior to that.

and Sharon, who previously supported the settlers 110%, is actually ordering many of the settlements dismantled, in spite of loud protest.

ariel sharon has absolutely no intention of ceding any land to the palestinians. if you believe otherwise you're incredibly naive. he is merely attempting to make himself appear reasonable and open-minded to peace initiatives. then he can later say, see, just like oslo and the barak plan, we tried to outstretch our hand in peace to the palestininas, and they once again rejected our olive branch. you see it's not our fault, it's the fault of those fanatical arabs.

it's all a facade. just wait and see.
