Official: Stabilizing Iraq 'tougher' than foreseen
WASHINGTON (AP) — The task of stabilizing postwar Iraq has proven "tougher and more complex" than the Bush administration originally foresaw, the Pentagon's top policy adviser on the matter said Tuesday.
Joseph Collins, deputy assistant secretary of defense for stability operations, told reporters that prewar plans for restoring order in Iraq were comprehensive and carefully assembled. But once plan met reality, they had to be adjusted, sometimes quite a lot.

And to think, there are tomes of history books sitting on our library shelves that could have told them this would happen, but instead of Shrub and his minions reading them, they want to apply their Patriot Act to check on what "WE READ" in our public libraries.

Go figure! And the wingers here call US the idiots!

And speaking of you wingers that keep saying that I'm lying about Shrub's and his family...the offer still stands...point out what is a lie on my part. And just in case you can't read this...I will pay for your braille lessons, because by you not responding, I guess you are blind or can't read my request for one example.

Aaaaahhhhh.....better than a Nestea plunge!

A very relaxing day in the life of a well seasoned right-wing conservative would begin with a nice cool morning and the wind softly blowing the pages of their NewsMax magazine as they sat on the back porch watching the squirrels playing around the creek. Then as the morning progressed the radio would get turned on and tuned into the local right-wing talk show. About noon it's time for some lunch and Paul Harvey, which is always followed by right-wing conservative favorite, Rush Limbaugh. And after Rush you can tune into another local right-wing talk show before dinner. Then, right after dinner, for desert you get three hours of The Savage Nation. Oh what a wonderful world we have. I almost feel guilty for having so much fun all day, every day...while the leftist liberals gnash their teeth and pray they at least catch a Jim Hightower rerun.
